Where the wild still
writes the map.
Tailor-made expeditions through Tanzania and Kenya. Unhurried, considered, and shaped entirely around you.

The quiet, towering
witness of the savanna.
We build unhurried, considered travel: expeditions led by people who read the land, move gently through it, and return you home with a longer view of the world.
Nothing here is packaged. You tell us who you are travelling with, when, and what you hope to stand in front of. We do the rest, quietly and properly.
- Grounded
- Real places, real expertise. Never gimmick.
- Refined
- Generous space, calm pace, no clutter.
- Wild
- The land leads. We follow it with respect.
Two countries, one wild heart
Choose your ground.
Kenya gave safari its name. Tanzania gave it its scale. Most of our travellers end up wanting both, and that is entirely possible.
Curated journeys
Starting points, not packages.
Every itinerary below is a sketch we will happily redraw. Use them to find the shape of your trip, then tell us what to change.
The field planner
When can you travel?
Tell us your month and we will show you where the wild will be: the migration's position, and how every park rates. It is the honest way to time a safari.
The migration in August
Peak river crossings.
The classic image: herds massing on the bank, then pouring across the Mara River. Northern Serengeti and the Masai Mara are at their most dramatic.

In their words
The trips people carry home.
We asked for something that would work for two adults and a nervous nine-year-old, and they built exactly that. Shorter drives, a pool at midday, and a guide who turned every dung beetle into an event. It is the best thing we have ever done as a family.
7-Day Tanzania, family of four
London, UK
They talked us out of the month we had picked and into a better one, which is not what you expect from a company trying to sell you a trip. The crossings were everything we hoped for. Honest people who clearly know the ground.
Great Migration, Serengeti & Mara
Toronto, Canada
Our honeymoon, and they got the pace exactly right: a week on safari, then the coast, and never once did it feel like an itinerary being executed. Private vehicles the whole way. We felt looked after without ever feeling managed.

Before you ask
The honest answers.
If your question is not here, write to us. A specialist answers, not a script.
- What does a tailor-made safari actually mean?
- Nothing is off the shelf. We start from who you are travelling with, when you can go, and what you most want to see. From that we build the route, the camps and the pace. The itineraries published here are starting points, not fixed packages.
- When is the best time to go on safari in Tanzania or Kenya?
- There is no single best month; it depends on what you want to see. June to October is the classic dry season with superb general game viewing. The Serengeti calving season runs January to March, and the dramatic Mara River crossings usually fall between July and September. Every park page here carries a month-by-month rating.
- How much does a safari cost?
- Our journeys start from around $1,350 per person for three days and rise with length, season and the standard of camp you choose. Because every trip is built to order, we quote per itinerary rather than per package.
- Do you only do luxury safaris?
- We design across the range. The care and the guiding stay the same whichever camps you choose. What changes is the level of comfort. Tell us your budget honestly and we will tell you honestly what it buys.
